Dog control
Newport City Council dog wardens deal with stray dogs, our dog rehoming service and dog fouling.
Dog fouling
Toxocara canis is a round worm found in dog faeces which may cause stomach upsets and serious eye disorders.
Dog owners who do not clear up after their dogs are issued with a fixed penalty notice of £75 and failure to pay could result in a court appearance with a fine of up to £1000.
