Due to the exceptional high tides this morning the road linking Old Green Roundabout to Harlequin Roundabout in both direction is closed due to flooding. Officers are investigating and we anticipate that the road will be re-opened at 10:15.

Natural Resources Wales has issued a number of flood warnings and a flood alert affecting the Newport area. These warnings will remain in place overnight and will be updated following the morning high tide.
