Posted on Thursday 18th January 2018

Newport City Council is inviting views on a vision for the future development of the city centre.

A consultation was launched at the fifth Newport City Summit which was held at the Celtic Manor Resort today.

The council wants to build on the success already achieved in the city centre following the delivery of Friars Walk and transformational projects carried out under the Vibrant and Viable Places programme.

It has set out a strategy and priorities by focussing on three main areas - a northern gateway; the city core and the riverside.

The consultation ends on 5 March 2018. To find out more visit
