Household Waste Recycling Centre

Newport residents can take household rubbish for recycling, reuse and composting at the Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC).

More recycling, less landfill!

What can be recycled at the HWRC?

The HWRC is free to use for Newport domestic customers and residents who may leave a maximum of 5 black bags a week in the landfill skips if materials absolutely cannot be recycled.

No commercial waste disposals between 9-13 September 2016

You can also recycle at one of Newport’s recycling bring banks.

The landfill site is for commercial customers and residents using large vehicles, trailers or vans.

Urgent repairs to the weighbridge mean that no commercial waste disposals will be accepted between 9-13 September 2016, apologies for any inconvenience.

See the current landfill charges.
