Household Waste Recycling Centre

Newport residents can take household rubbish for recycling, reuse and composting at the Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC).

More recycling, less landfill!

Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC)

Use of the HWRC is free for Newport residents who can also recycle at one of Newport’s recycling bring banks.

Find out what can be recycled at the HWRC

Residents with unsorted waste or those using a trailer may be asked to provide proof of residency and show the contents of the bags to staff to ensure material that can be recycled is not sent to landfill.

Residents may leave a maximum of four bin bags of unsorted household waste if the materials absolutely cannot be recycled.
