Park closure times

Beechwood Park
Closing hours at the city’s parks are to change this year to give Newport City Council rangers a chance to check the sites and lock the gates.
The times will be displayed in the parks to show when the last gate is locked however locking times start 30 minutes beforehand.
From week commencing Monday, 19 February the last gates will be locked at 6pm, the following two weeks, starting 26 February the last gate will be locked at 6.30pm.
From week commencing Monday 12 March to Sunday, 25 March the last gate will be locked at 7pm and from 26 March until 8 April the last gate will be closed at 8pm.
From Monday 9 April the last gate will be locked at 8.30pm and this will be the closing time until 23 September, reducing as the nights get darker in winter.
