Things to See & Do
Tredegar House
Welcome to Tredegar House
Set in a beautiful 90 acre park, Tredegar House is one of the best examples of a 17th century Charles II mansion in Britain. The earliest surviving part of the building dates back to the early 1500’s. Follow the link to find out more about the history of Tredegar House.
Visitors can discover what life was like for those who lived above and below stairs by touring the impressive state rooms and the intriguing servants’ quarters.
It is easy to spend a leisurely day here, with plenty to interest all members of the family. Take a guided tour of the house, visit the children's playground, jogging trail and woodland walk or find out about one of our special events. Afterwards, why not treat yourself to refreshments at the Brewhouse and drop in at the Visitor Centre for information and a good selection of gifts?
The Tredegar House Calendar of Events for 2008 includes details of themed tours of the House and gardens, theatre, exhibitions and our unique Halloween and Christmas celebrations.
Tredegar House also caters for conferences and is licensed for weddings.
