Big Splash 2013 is set to return on Friday 31 May - Sunday 2 June 2013.
There will be four fun zones in the centre of Newport:
ULTIMATE USK - fun along the river banks for all to see, including the highlight of the weekend, the 'Big Splash Spectacular'. As in previous years, there will be amazing circus acts with fire and pyrotechnics combined with fabulous fireworks that light up Newport's riverbanks. The Riverfront Theatre will also have a number of free shows in the theatre spaces and have live music on the outside cafe terrace.
FUN OF THE FAIR - throughout the weekend there will be funfair rides along the riverbank between The Riverfront and the University of Wales, Newport City Campus.
URBAN EDGE - The Newport Centre will be hosting Urban events; skate ramp, live urban music and DJ sets and the STOMP Dance competition.
PARKLIFE - the Sunday Family Funday will return at Rodney Parade.
Throughout the weekend there will be wondrous and comic walkabout characters in one of the best Welsh street theatre festivals.
There will also be a selection of fun WORKSHOPS or taster sessions for you to join in with.
