Chris Williams

Chris Williams has been a chef for 16 years and has spent half of those years serving in the armed forces as a chef traveling all over the world. 

He has travelled to countries including Northern Ireland, Bavaria, Canada, Germany, Falkland islands, Cyprus and the USA and has represented the British Army in many cooking competitions.

Chris has been with Newport Wagamama since its opening in 2016.  For his demonstration he will be cooking some delicious, Asian inspired, dishes based on the Wagamama menu which has been created to soothe, nourish, sustain and inspire. 

At Wagamama diners can pick from all kinds of rice and noodle dishes, alongside fresh salads and shareable sides. There are also desserts, fresh juices, hot drinks, wine, sake and expertly crafted Asian beers.
