Newport Children & Young People’s Partnership

All our children - All our business

The Young Newport website and a lot of the activities and services that take place in Newport for children and young people have been organised by members of Newport Children and Young People’s Partnership.

The Partnership includes all the main services like education, social services, health, careers and youth services as well as representatives from a range of voluntary organisations.

Recently, the Partnership has put together a Children and Young People’s Plan for Newport which sets out the things that we would like to see happen over the next three years to improve the lives of children and young people living in Newport.

We have been working with NYC [Newport Youth Council] to produce the Plan and you can download the young people’s version of the plan here. If you would like to see the full Plan, go to the Children and Young People’s Partnership page.

NYC is Newport Youth Council. This is open to all young people aged 11-25 and living in Newport. It’s just one way that you can have your voice heard about the issues that affect you.If you want to find out more about NYC and how you can get involved, you can contact the Participation Officer on 01633 259767.
