Young Newport

One Newport LSB has recently undertaken a review of its priorities and partnership arrangements. The new arrangements will be implemented in June 2012.

Information for Young People

The Young Newport website (opens new website) has been developed specially for young people living in Newport and gives loads of information about things that you can do and places you can go if you need advice and help.

Newport Youth Council (NYC)

“Participation means that it is my right to be involved in making decisions, planning and reviewing an action that might affect me. Having a voice, having a choice.”

NYC is Newport Youth Council, open to all young people aged 11-25 and living in Newport.

It is a way to have your voice heard about the issues that affect you.

Newport Youth Information Service

Offers young people free and confidential advice and information provided by trained staff within Newport Youth Service.
