The new upstairs gallery of Newport’s refurbished indoor market is the perfect place to hold exhibitions and fairs. The Gallery of the Victorian market building has been specially adapted for fairs and special exhibitions, and is a light airy space with a stained glass window overlooking one end. Round the periphery are other stalls selling crafts, designer clothes and new age products, and there is a café right on the site. There is a room for twenty five to thirty tables in the central aisle, each with electricity points next to each table.

Situated in the centre of Newport City, the Gallery is a superb location for attracting customers, within a few yards of the main bus station and near the central car parks. Newport is easily accessed from the M4 and the centre is well signposted. There is also a lift to the gallery floor for anyone who can’t make the stairs. Events held within the gallery can also be advertised on the Newport City Council website.
