Newport City Council has a chief executive and two strategic directors who together oversee the delivery of services.

Overviews the head of adult services, head of children’s services, chief education officer and the head of education services.

Other strategic roles include partnering with health, community cohesion, diversity, the voluntary sector, the preventative agenda and 14-19 partnership.

Strategic partnerships: Community Safety Partnership and Prosperity Partnership

Overviews the head of regeneration and regulatory services, head of streetscene and the head of continuing learning and leisure.
