Spring into action

Get active this spring in the great outdoors. In the garden from small pots to allotments, beginners to the more advanced gardener Newport libraries offer a large range of books. Or call into any of our libraries and use the free internet access to find out about other outdoor activities this spring.

Free internet access is available from any Newport library. To book a PC for up to 2 hours call (01633) 656656 and ask for your nearest library.

A new Library and Visitor Centre for Newport at Tredegar House

Visitors will be able to access the libraries extensive stock from boy Wizards to celebrity chefs. You can use the free internet access to do your shopping online book tickets to a show or help with your home work project.

This facility is the first of its kind in Wales a joining together of sympathic services, community learning, libraries and museums and heritage. An exciting sharing of opportunities so customers can visit Tredegar House and learn about its history on line, take out a book to read in the gardens all in one welcoming space

Do you have internet access and don’t currently use your local library? If you live in Newport are over 16 and have internet access, then book express is the service for you.
