Publication of Statutory Notice

Newport City Council’s Cabinet Member for Education and Early Years has considered all views expressed and responses received during the formal consultation process and decided to proceed with the proposal to statutory notice stage.

Statutory Notice Period 19 February 2024 – 17 March 2024.

The statutory notice period allowed people to express their views in support of or objection to the proposal.

Determination

The consultation passed through the statutory notice stage without objection and therefore a final decision was taken by Newport City Council’s Cabinet Member for Education & Early Years.

Final decision

Newport City Council’s Cabinet Member for Education & Early Years has made the decision to implement the proposal to increase the capacity of Tredegar Park Primary School with effect from September 2024.
