Following the traditional food market and chef demonstrations on Saturday, live music and street food will take over High Street on Sunday 13 October.
Starting at 11am, you can enjoy live performances from bands including Eurekas, Tom Anthony, Hair Dye, The Serene Scene, Upstairs at Hannah’s, Tears for Beers and, returning for the second year, Taffy Was a Thief.
While sitting back and enjoying the music, you can enjoy some delicious street food from popular vendors offering a range of cuisines.
Cabinet member for culture and communications, councillor Emma Corten, said: “Last year’s food festival brought a splash of colour and fun to the city - not only on the Saturday, but on the Sunday as well.
“I am looking forward to another Sunday event that will be jam-packed with street food, bands and activities to entertain people of all ages.”
For the younger visitors to the festival, the Corn Exchange will be hosting a children’s disco between 12pm and 4pm. If dancing is not your vibe, Newport Market will be showing food themed movies throughout the day, starting at 11am.
