It is an exciting time for the Newport Transporter Bridge. With support from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, Welsh Government and Newport City Council we will carry out extensive restoration of the bridge structure and construct a new visitor centre. Therefore, the site will remain closed now until Summer 2024. 

We are developing a programme of behind the scenes videos from site including interviews with our specialist teams to keep the public up to date with the progress and how to get involved.
