The Welsh government has published a list of priority species and habitats in Wales, under Section 7 of the Environment (Wales) Act 2016.

Newport local nature partnership
The Newport local nature partnership is a group of professionals and volunteers working together to look after our local biodiversity.
The aim is to improve on the local biodiversity across Newport.
