The proposal to establish a nursery at Marshfield primary school has now been approved and implemented.
Newport City Council’s Cabinet Member (CM) for Education and Young People has taken the decision to implement this proposal.

The proposal is to establish a nursery on the Marshfield school site extending the age range to 3-11 years with effect from September 2016.
The nursery will provide 16 full time equivalent nursery places for children to attend morning or afternoon sessions.
This proposal is now published by way of Statutory Notice in accordance with Sections 42 and 48 of the School Standards and Organisation (Wales) Act 2013.
