Open days

If you want to find out more about adult education, the community learning service will be holding information sessions at St Julian’s Community Learning and Library Centre this summer.


Staff will be on hand to discuss the courses on offer which include GCSE English & maths, teaching assistant, digital skills and ICT, ICDL, independent living skills, essential skills, British Sign Language, food safety, first aid for mental health, carbon literacy and Spanish.


There is no need to book an appointment just come along on one of the following days:

  • Thursday 22 August, 9am - 7pm
  • Monday 2 September, 11am - 7pm

Concessions

You may be eligible for a concession on tuition fees.

Conditions apply and you will require proof of benefit which must be valid on the day you enrol on a course.

Refund policy

Newport City Council reserves the right to cancel or amalgamate courses.

If this is necessary, a full or partial refund may be given. Refunds are not made for any other reason.  

Disability

Please let us know, prior to enrolling, if you have a disability which may affect participation in your chosen course, so that we can accommodate your needs.

Enrolment 

To be eligible for enrolment students must me aged 16 or over a the start of the academic year (1 September).
