Future Creatives is a new youth project brought to you by The Riverfront Theatre & Arts Centre in Newport.
The project will consist of weekly sessions providing the opportunity for young people to learn everything they need to know about the industry. The project will focus on theatre, film, podcasting & print making. Participants will get the chance to work together to make… what ever they want!
Welcoming all young adults aged between 17 - 24 to meet on a weekly basis throughout March and April 2023, participants will get the chance to explore new ideas in exciting ways, creating artwork that responds to the world right now.
These sessions will be an amazing opportunity to explore your options within the creative industries, as well as spending some free-time meeting new people and learning new skills.
The first session takes place on Tuesday 7th March 2023 at 6.30pm at The Riverfront. This ’Speak Up For What Want’ session is a taster meeting, giving anyone who’s interested, the opportunity to attend a workshop in which you’ll learn more about the project & be asked what you’d most like to do.
The following sessions will continue every Tuesday at 6.30pm until the 18th of April.
