The full council tax bill assumes that there are two adults (over 18 years old) living at the property.
You may be able to apply for a:
- 25% discount if there is only one adult resident in your home
- 50% if there are no countable adults in your home
You may also apply if there is more than one adult living in a property, but at least one of them qualifies for a council tax discount for other reasons.
