'My Newport' app and online services

Newport’s online services and mobile app allow you to access council services at any time, from any location – saving you time and effort.
Using the ‘My Newport’ online services or app allows you to contact the council quickly and easily and get a prompt response.
What services are available online?
More council services are being added to ‘My Newport’ all the time, but here is just a selection of what you can do online:
- report fly tipping or dog fouling when you are out and about, including the option to upload photos
- check recycling and refuse services or report a missed collection
- make an enquiry about a wedding or naming ceremony
- find out more about fostering or adoption
- pay for music lessons
- pay council tax
- ask for housing advice
Why set up an account?
If you register with ‘My Newport’ all your requests and transactions will be available to view in one place. You can track the progress of your enquiries and view any responses.
However, you can still report, request and pay for services without setting up an account if you wish – just select ‘guest’ at the login page.
‘My Newport’ mobile app
The ‘My Newport’ mobile app is available for both Apple and Android devices. Visit your provider’s app or play store and search for ‘My Newport’. Services are available in English and Welsh.
