Daffodils planted as a commemoration to those who lost their lives through the Covid-19 pandemic are starting to spring up across Newport.
Newport City Council planted over 200,000 daffodil bulbs last year in locations across the city as a mark of remembrance.
The bulbs will spring every year around March, serving as a perennial commemoration to those in Newport and across the country who lost their lives due to the pandemic.
