Unauthorised encampment: Lysaght's Park

Newport City Council is aware that Travellers have moved on to Lysaght’s Park (known locally as the Chem).
It is seeking to move the vehicles on from this public green space which is widely used by local residents as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, it is working with partners to monitor the situation in line with the Gwent-wide protocol on managing unauthorised encampments.
