Venue change for service appointments

Since last September, face-to-face appointments for some Newport City Council services have taken place at The Riverfront.
From 15 August, council staff will leave the Newport Live venue for a new temporary home in Exchange House, High Street.
This will again be for certain inquiries relating to housing, housing benefits, council tax and appointees and will be on a strictly-appointment only basis.
It is expected that staff will continue to deliver these services from Exchange House until they move into the building that is also home to the Central Library, Museum and Art Gallery in John Frost Square.
Following the completion of the work, some services which were based at the Information Station will be delivered from the newly refurbished building. The council’s contact centre staff will also be based there.
We would like to thank Newport Live for hosting staff at The Riverfront and to Pobl for providing a new temporary base in Exchange House.
