Gaer, Newport : PS

I am looking to employ a Personal Assistant to support my 7-year-old son with additional needs to access the community for 3 hours per week at the rate of £10.87 per hour. (In term time this would ideally be on the weekends and in the school holidays this can be flexible).

My son is non-verbal and enjoys the outdoors and is very sensory seeking. He likes to be active and moving all the time. He loves trampolining, water play, swings, slides and physical activities. He doesn’t like soft play or when there are too many people or too many noises. Sometimes he can be sensitive to low level lights especially in some stores or eating places. He has no sense of danger and thus you need to hold his hand at all times, as he is very impatient to wait in queues, etc.

I am looking for someone to take him out to the trampoline park, play park, for a good walk and sometimes McDonalds. He does enjoy water play so possibly swimming could be another option.
