Access Supported Employment

Access Supported Employment (ASE) was set up by Newport City Council in 1997 to support people with disabilities in finding appropriate employment.

Supported employment provides:

assistance from an employment support specialist
free information on recruitment, retention, or redevelopment as well as advice, support and recommendations
specialised job training
on site, hands on training and support for the individual
assistance with development plans
long-term support and input with reviewing and monitoring
