Sponsors & Friends

Newport food festival would not be possible without the support of our sponsors.

As we celebrate our 9th birthday this year we would like to thank all friends and sponsors who have kindly offered their support:

  • Newport Now
  • The Celtic Manor Resort
  • Pobl Group
  • Horton's Coffee House

We are very grateful to our team of volunteers who work tirelessly in the build-up to and including festival day.  Their backing has made it possible to grow the event year-on-year.

NFF visitor feedback

Newport Food Festival is a not-for-profit event, organised by Newport City Council.  It is funded by grants, sponsorship and is supported by a body of volunteers.

Since the inaugural event in 2010, the format of the festival has changed while growing in size and popularity.  Footfall has reached over 20,000 making it one of Newport's largest and best attended events.

Visitor numbers and marketing reach:

Promotion of the event is supported by the Welsh Government and is carried out through a variety of channels :

  • Pre and post event promotion via Newport Matters – the newspaper of Newport City Council, which reaches over 67,000 households and businesses in Newport.
  • Full public realm exposure through lamppost banner advertising for 6 weeks up to and including the festival day.
  • Full social media package with links to Newport City Council’s social media platforms from the Newport Food Festival Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts.
  • Digital reach via specialist festival web listings and Visit Wales.com
