Family Crafts: Roman Mosaic / Rota Game

The ancient Roman game of ROTA is easy to learn, quick to play and like noughts and crosses or tic tac toe relies on patience and strategy. ROTA, (Latin for wheel) boards were painted, scratched or scribbled everywhere that Romans went. It probably kept a lot of bored Roman soldiers busy.

15 places available per session to come along and make your own Mosaic / Rota board to take home and play.

11-12/ 12 - 1/ 1 - 2pm

Places are allocated on a first come first serve basis on the day. No booking required - drop in only!

Suitable for school age children 4 - 12 years.

Please be aware that children must be accompanied by an adult throughout.

Family Crafts take place in the Art Gallery on the third floor.
