Newport Museum and Art Gallery offers opportunities for volunteers to help staff with various projects. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer please contact us - we would like to know what areas of work you are interested in and how much time you have to spare.

Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate every request as we have a limited number of places available.

Work experience

We are committed to enable young people to gain a taste of the world of work through designated placement schemes such as school placements. Please contact us for more information.

We receive a large number of requests per year and try and accommodate as many young people as possible.
