Traffic and air quality assessment
A traffic and air quality assessment will take place in Caerleon for two weeks from 5 November 2014.
Information will be collected from automatic traffic counters (ATC), surveys and video footage on the high street, major junctions and some other locations on the one-way system.
The survey will be conducted by Traffic Survey Partners.
The monitoring will provide an assessment of traffic issues and how they affect air quality on the high street and within the Air Quality Management Area.
From this information we hope to identify measures which, when implemented, will improve traffic flow and air quality within Caerleon.
