Resident parking schemes operated by Newport City Council help residents to find parking spaces near their homes.
Parking permits are issued to residents of a street that has a resident parking scheme and there is a maximum of two permits per household.
Resident parking permits can be used for cars, motorcycles and vans under 1524 kg unladen weight.
Permits must be clearly displayed and apply only when parking on the highway.
