Please note: In accordance with recent school reorganisation proposals the English Medium catchment areas of both Pillgwenlly and Maesglas Primary Schools will be changing with effect from September 2023. These changes will be available to be viewed from 7 July 2022. Please check your catchment school prior to making an application. This is only relevant for nursery and reception. 

Nursery

Eligible children’s date of birth: 1 September 2019 to
31 August 2020

How places have been allocated (pdf)

For admission to Nursery outside the annual admissions round including Nursery 2023 you will need to make an in-year transfer application.

Reception

Eligible children’s date of birth: 1 September 2018 to
31 August 2019

How places have been allocated (pdf)

For admission to primary school outside the annual admissions round including Reception 2023 you will need to make an in-year transfer application.


Year 7 (secondary school)

Eligible children’s date of birth: 1 September 2012 to
31 August 2013
