Newport City Council offers help and advice to members of the tourism trade in Newport.

If you own a tourism business in Newport – accommodation, activities, food - and offer services to visitors we would like to hear from you.

We can advise on listing events, funding, tourism association membership, product development, providing tourist information, networking, marketing and promotion. 

Through Visit Wales, businesses in the tourism sector can access funding through the WTIF (Wales Tourism Investment Fund) for larger projects - between £100,000 and £5,000,000, and the MSBF (Micro Small Business Fund) for organisations with fewer than 50 FTE employees.

WRAP Cymru – funding for hospitality, tourism and food SMEs 

WRAP Cymru offers support for small and medium businesses to help save money by cutting the amount of waste produced.

Businesses can apply for a grant of up to £50,000 and consultancy.
