The weekend of sport begins with the Opening Ceremony on Thursday 25 July from 5pm at Rodney Parade, Newport.

Members of the community are invited to watch the ceremony which will see an Olympic-style parade of all participants from all over the country.  Speeches and music to entertain both participants and crowd will follow the parade.

Over the four days teams of transplant survivors and donors from hospitals across the UK will compete in a range of sports including swimming, cycling, golf and athletics.

Organised on behalf of the charity Transplant Sport UK, the aim of the Games is to raise awareness of and increase organ donation.

Newport City Council, Newport Live, Welsh Government and the Games organisers are working together to make this the best event yet.
