School admission arrangements 2016

Newport City Council has now determined its school admission arrangements for September 2016 following public consultation in January this year.
No comments were received during the consultation so the arrangements are, therefore, as outlined in the consultation document subject to two small changes:
- additional information has been included to support the arrangements that are undertaken in relation to pupils submitting dual applications
- the published admission number for Millbrook Primary School will increase to 45 from September 2016 in respect of the reception year group only
