Newport City Council would like to thank supporters and sponsors of this year’s Newport Food Festival taking place on Saturday, 5 October.
More than 75 stall holders have signed up to the day to ensure a wide variety of top quality food and drink will be on sale to the thousands of visitors expected to attend.
There will also be a host of events at Newport Market, Pobl headquarters, Horton’s Coffee Shop and Usk Plaza and John Frost Square area of Friars Walk.
Newport Now Bid are one of the festival sponsors and have a Newport NOW zone in the gallery area of Newport Market where the chef demos will take place.
Kevin Ward, Newport Now BID manager, said: "This is the third year the Business Improvement District has sponsored the festival and we're delighted to continue the partnership.
"As the private not-for-profit company funded and run by Newport's city centre businesses, we recognise the importance of the festival in the city's event calendar.
"It brings in significant numbers of visitors and helps increase city centre footfall. Many of our BID members take part in the festival and there are spin-off benefits for the overall city centre economy
"We hope people who come to the festival have a fantastic day and take the time to visit some of our fantastic shops while they're here."
