Car parking charges at Belle Vue Park

The introduction of car parking charges to Belle Vue Park was outlined in Newport City Council’s budget report published earlier this year.
Following consultation the policy was jointly agreed by Councillor Roger Jeavons, Cabinet Member for Streetscene and Councillor Deb Harvey, Cabinet Member for Culture and Leisure that charges be introduced.
The charges are £1 for up to two hours, £3 for up to five hours and £5 for over five hours. The charges do not apply after 4pm.
Revenue raised from parking charges will be spent on the park.
