Councillor Gail Giles, Newport City Council's cabinet member for education and skills, said: "Courses offered by ACL and the WBLA are perfect for people who want to improve their skills, either to help them find work or to improve their career choices.

"We are also still able to provide a limited number of courses for residents who want to take up a new hobby or enhance their talents.

"I would encourage people to take a look at the new prospectus to check out whether there is something that could broaden their horizons."
