Deadline for prospective parliamentary candidates

Candidates wishing to stand for Newport East or Newport West in the general election on 8 June have to deliver their nomination papers before 4pm on Thursday 11 May.
Nomination packs are available on line at www.newport.gov.uk/elections
They can be handed in to the elections office in the Civic Centre between 10am and 4pm on any working day.
People wishing to stand in general election in Newport East or Newport West must submit nominations by 4pm on 11 May.
