Have your say on issues in Pillgwenlly

Posted on Tuesday 10th January 2017

Newport City Council, Gwent Police and One Newport partners (the Public Service Board for the city) are working together to reduce crime, the fear of crime and anti-social behaviour in the Pillgwenlly area of the city.

As part of this work, we are interested in knowing what people think are the main issues, what needs to be done, and how each of the responsible agencies are currently responding. In particular, we would like to hear the views of those who live and work in Pillgwenlly.

Councillor Debbie Wilcox, Leader of Newport City Council, said: “Engaging with the local community, groups and traders is a critical part of tackling any issues. I urge people to have their say so that we and our partners can take the most appropriate steps in improving this part of the city.”

The questionnaire is anonymous and will help to inform a strategy to improve community safety in the area.

The survey will run until 3 February 2017.
