Festive opening hours at Household Waste Recycling Centre

For anyone wanting to clear their homes of unwanted items in the run up to Christmas the Household Waste Recycling Centre in Docks Way, Newport is open until 4.30pm on Christmas Eve with the last vehicle allowed in 15 minutes before.
The site is closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day then it will be normal hours of 7.30am until 4.30pm weekdays and from 9am until 4.30pm on Saturday, December 30 and New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2017. Again the last access is 15 minutes before closing time.
The site is closed on New Year’s Day, then normal hours resume on Tuesday, 2 January 2018.
