Christmas and New Year bin collections will be a day later

Newport City Council and Wastesavers would like to remind residents that weekly bin and recycling collections will be a day later than normal over the festive period.
Just so there are no mistakes the collection over Christmas is as follows:
bins due for collection on Monday, 25 December will be collected on Tuesday, 26 December 2017; Tuesday 26 December 2017 will be collected Wednesday 27 December 2017; Wednesday 27 December 2017 will be collected Thursday 28 December 2017; Thursday 28 December will be collected Friday 29 December 2017 and Friday 29 December will be collected Saturday 30 December 2017.
The New Year dates follow the same pattern so Monday 1 January 2018 will be collected Tuesday 2 January 2018; Tuesday 2 January will be collected Wednesday 3 January; Wednesday will be collected on Thursday 4 January; Thursday 4 January will be collected on Friday 5 January and Friday 5 January will be collected on Saturday, 6 January 2018
