As the lead partner for funding from the European Social Fund, Newport City Council has applied to deliver projects across south east Wales.

Inspire to Work - a project that aims to reduce the number of young people aged 16-24 years who are not in employment, education or training (NEET).

Journey to Work - a project that aims to increase the employability of economically inactive and long term unemployed people aged 25 and over, who have complex barriers to employment.
