Community alarms enable people to call for help if they fall, are taken ill or experience an emergency at home, so that they can continue to live independently.  

Emergency calls are routed to a monitoring centre that is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 

You need a telephone line and an electrical power point on the same wall so that an alarm unit can be fitted.

You will be provided with a personal trigger, worn on the wrist or around the neck.

If the trigger is activated a message is sent to trained operators who will contact someone on your behalf.
