Stow Park Nursing Home is operated by Abbeyfield Wales Society Ltd, a registered charity which provides sheltered housing and nursing care for people over the age of 55.
The home is situated on a peaceful leafy avenue close to Newport’s Belle Vue Park and caters for for up to 31 residents with a diagnosis of dementia and who require specialist nursing care.
There are 29 en-suite nursing rooms and an internal passenger lift allows quick and easy access to each floor.
Residents can enjoy the company of others in the home's communal sitting rooms, dining room and garden and in-house laundry, domestic and hairdressing services are provided.
The home is staffed 24 hours a day with highly qualified and experienced staff who ensure full attention is given to the individual needs of each resident through personal care plans.
Abbeyfield Nursing Care caters for residents’ physical, emotional and social needs and ensures their dignity, privacy and firmly held beliefs are upheld.
The nursing home is equipped with a well-appointed kitchen and professional catering staff who provide for the special dietary requirements of each resident.
