Newport Community Connectors can keep you in touch with local activities, groups and clubs.  

We can provide names, places and telephone numbers for activities, services and support.

Community connectors work with individuals, groups and organisations across the Newport area and:

  • provide information and advice about available support
  • help you find activities in your local area
  • help you meet more people in your community

Group of the month - Chance Meeting Wales

Thursdays, 6.30pm - 8.30pm at the Iscoed Tafarn Pub Underwood

The Chance Meeting Wales group is aimed at helping people aged 16 and over who have a disability or a learning difficulty to socialise, make new friends and try new activities including games, art and crafts, pool and table tennis.

Interested? Come along and say hello!

The group gives you an opportunity to express yourself and say how you would like the group to run.

Carer community connectors

If you look after someone who can't manage at home without help, the carer community connectors can help you find out about local support services and activities, provide information about voluntary organisations and help you to re-connect with your community.
