How to join
Businesses that have been trading for at least six months can apply to join and will be thoroughly checked before being admitted.
Checks will look at the company's approach to customer service and make sure it is operating within consumer law, has appropriate insurance and does not cold call people.
If there are problems we can advise on what needs to be done to achieve Buy With Confidence status.
Where a business goes into people’s homes or has regular contact with children or vulnerable adults, employees may be asked to agree to a criminal records check.
Membership must be renewed each year.
