Active Living Centre

The Active Living Centre is part of the £28 million Newport High School development and is training base for the Newport Gwent Dragons rugby team and Newport County football club.

The centre is available for swimming lessons, fitness classes, children’s parties and football hire.

  • An 18 station Active Newport Gym with TechnoGym cardio-vascular and resistance equipment
  • Air-conditioned dance studio with sprung floor.
  • Large sports hall with 4 badminton courts also suitable for 5-a-side football, basketball, netball and more
  • 2 indoor cricket nets
  • Floodlit astro turf pitch for hockey and football
  • Outdoor multi-use games area (MUGA)
  • 4 outdoor tennis courts (seasonal April – September)
  • 3 outdoor netball courts (seasonal)
