Trade waste disposal

Newport City Council’s waste disposal site will accept commercial waste, providing the carrier is registered with the relevant environmental regulator, and able to demonstrate compliance with the duty of care.

All registrations last for three years from the date of issue or renewal. For further information and enquiries contact the Environment Agency for Wales (Telephone: 08708 506 506).

Use of the waste disposal site is restricted for vans and commercial vehicles as follows:

Monday to Thursdays	7:30am – 3:30 pm
Friday	7:30am – 3:00 pm
Saturday	7:30am – 11:00 am
Sunday	Closed

A height restriction barrier is in operation and no commercial vehicles, including vans, are allowed in after 15 minutes before the above closing times.

The minimum charge for commercial transactions will be for two tonnes of waste which will be £241.64 inclusive of VAT.
