New! Cardboard collections

Between December 2013 and August 2014 residents will receive a new sack for cardboard recycling as new legislation means that garden waste and cardboard cannot be collected in the same container.

Your new sack will be delivered with an advice leaflet and details of when the scheme will begin in your area.

For more information please look at the changes to your recycling services and frequently asked questions

Collection days

Garden waste bins are collected once a fortnight, alternating with your rubbish bin collection.

Find out when your garden waste bin is collected.

Please put the bin out for collection by 7.00am on your usual collection day and make sure you can close the bin lid or it will not be collected.

If you don’t have the space or cannot wait for your garden waste bin why not try home composting?
